THE NEW CABBIE'S MATE iOS AND ANDROID APPS
January map update is now available for iOS and Android subscription customers. This map update includes changes in Covent Garden, Fitzrovia, Camden, City, Ealing and other places.
As a tribute to KoL examiner late Mr SWIRE, the five-way junction at King William Street, Cannon Street, Gracechurch Street and Eastcheap is now marked on the map as SWIRE Junction.
The Cabbie's Mate iOS and Android Premium option now comes with a 30 day free trial period for new subscribers
New customers can download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store and subscribe at any time.
iOS Cabbie's Mate app requires iOS 12 or over, and it is compatible with iPhone 6,7,8,10,11,12,13 and iPad's running iOS 12 or above.
The Android Cabbie's Mate app requires an Android 8 version or above.
What's New
The new Cabbie's Mate app now includes speed camera warnings, TFL Live traffic/road work disruption, will remember the last 20 search entries, an online search category where a user can search for door numbers on A-Z maps or any poi's that we may not have in our database. GPS icon selection option and map download options are also available.
The premium version comes with functions for Knowledge boys and girls.
Both Standard and Premium subscription options receive two map updates a year, in April and October. Only premium option customers receive four poi updates a year; Standard option subscribers only receive one POI update a year in April.
Map downloads over 4G/5G or mobile Wi-Fi
Cabbie's Mate apps and maps now can be downloaded via 4G/5G or mobile Wi-Fi. If you don't have unlimited data or are worried about data usage, please download at home or disable your Mobile Data option on your device settings.
